Function Capacity Evaluations
We perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and other tests
A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive evaluation that provides an objective measure of an individual's safe, maximum physical capability to perform work.
Our detailed examination and evaluation process is designed to measure the individual's current level of function within the context of the physical demands of employment.
After completion of an FCE, a comprehensive, clear report will be submitted and will include all subjective and objective findings of the evaluation, test results, a summary of the participant's abilities and limitations, as well as the evaluator's recommendations.
FCE's are a pivotal resource for:
- Return-to-work and job-placement decisions
- Determination of work function with non-work-related illness and injuries
- Determination of function in non-occupational settings
- Intervention and treatment planning
- Disability evaluation
- Case management and case closure
FCE recommendations are valuable in objective measures of:
- Ability to perform the essential physical tasks of a job or task
- Appropriate ergonomic intervention
- Return-to-work feasibility
- Appropriate job modifications or job placement
- Rehabilitation potential
- Disability considerations
- Case management and case closure
